We are looking for a dynamic and globally experienced professional to guide our People, Culture and Talent teams through the next phase of growth. As Global VP of People you will partner with leaders across the organization to collaboratively build upon and execute long-term vision for all People and Culture functions. You will help maintain our core values and ensure that all decisions, programs, and processes are aligned with our culture and core beliefs.
Responsibilities:
- Remote Work: Own our strategy for remote work, including a geographically distributed talent strategy, collaboration, and culture building efforts. Strike is a fully remote company
- HR Compliance: Ensure all procedures comply with global legal regulations and best practices
- Learning and Development: Build scalable learning and organizational development programs that aid in growing our team’s capabilities and drive employee retention
- Building Scalable Systems: Assist in the development of our performance management systems, including performance reviews, compensation strategy, manager training, and more
- Assist in the organization's people related strategy in partnership with the other People team members
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a VP/Director of HR or People in a globally diverse and distributed organization, preferably in Tech
- Knowledge of local and international labor law
- You have developed compensation strategies for international teams
- Track record building and delivering global People programs from the ground up in a fast-growing organization
- Excellent interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Knows how to be thoughtful in balancing both short term and long term initiatives
- Resourcefulness, pragmatism and roll-up the sleeves mentality
- Ability to use metrics and analytics
- Great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to details
- Is passionate about all things people and loves making a difference for a global employee base
