Senior Software Engineer

Slingshot is a decentralized trading platform that routes orders through permissionless liquidity pools to give users the best prices on their trades.

As a Sr. Software Engineer (backend) you will be working on a globally distributed team to develop and ship world-class products at the bleeding edge of decentralized finance.

Your responsibilities will include developing software solutions in Go, designing, implementing, and optimizing a microservice-based architecture to improve the capabilities of our trading and analytics engines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience writing code in Golang
• Professional experience as a software engineer, having participated in design and code review processes
  
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Service or equivalent cloud platforms
  

Nice to have

• Experience developing in Rust, C, or C++
  
• Experience with high volume, high availability distributed systems
  
• Experience building applications which interact with the Go Ethereum client
• Familiarity with DeFi
  
• Familiarity with financial applications
