As the Product Marketing leader, you will play an important role in a hyper-growth startup. You will lead our product marketing team and work across our marketing, engineering, sales and customer success teams to shape and market our products in ways that will strengthen our product offering, increase product engagement, enhance brand recognition and drive revenue. You will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on CertiK’s organization – playing a critical role in scaling a company through product marketing and customer adoption. You will work directly with CertiK’s senior leaders.You will guide product definition, planning, launches, and assist in product training and customer marketing. You will collect market intelligence, formulate product strategy, and help our product team go-to-market with new products and features to drive engagement and adoption. You will drive product success with market strategy, product positioning, sales enablement, and external communication.
This is a fast growing team in a highly entrepreneurial environment, so we will also look to you to help design a sustainable marketing and GTM process that will support our goal of making Blockchain more secure.
Prior blockchain or software security product marketing experience is preferred but not required, but the right individual will have demonstrable success in launching and marketing software, SaaS or other deep tech products and well versed in digital marketing. CertiK is a global organization, so experience in brand marketing on an international level is also a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project roadmaps for product offering(s), integrate the product strategy, inclusive of timelines and dependencies
- Work with the engineering team in the early product definition and development phase, identifying the customer base, positioning the product to target customers, conducting competitive analysis, specifying product features and differentiation scheme
- Understand the high level strategic vision of the Company well enough to make the appropriate short and long term trade-offs across different products
- Define the vision and success measures for prioritized product offering(s); gather and support prioritization of product requirements, providing recommendations, as appropriate
- Research and synthesize internal and external market requirements, market and technology trends along with a competitive analysis that feeds the product strategy & roadmaps
- Tell the story and show the power of CertiK products to the market. This includes product positioning & messaging, product launches, marketing promotions, product education/training materials, sales enablement.
- Work well cross functionally (especially with product development, sales, customer success teams) and develop expert level knowledge and passion for CertiK’s mission and our customers
- Become a champion for our customers – understanding their needs, why they choose CertiK and how they will use/benefit from our products
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in a product management and marketing role in Blockchain, software security, SaaS or other technology companies
- Demonstrated success in defining, launching and marketing software, SaaS or other deep tech products
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- A self-starter and like to get things done
- Strong market research and analysis capability
- Creative, analytical, detailed-oriented
- Effective in managing a small marketing team
