Business Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities

• Use reporting tools to generate standard or custom reports to summarize business, financial, or economic data and prepare custom reports for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Perform analyses to help drive revenue growth, profitability and product adoption and to scale our operations / reduce cost-to-serve
• Establish a deep understanding of our business and customer; leverage data to provide insights about our customer, product, markets and competitors
• Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users to ensure that project documents are complete, current, and elaborate and stored appropriately
• Analyze competitive market strategies and industry trends through business intelligence research approaches and quantitative analysis of related product, market, or share trends
• Transform large amounts of data into compelling visual stories to facilitate analysis and business decision-making
• Develop interactive visualizations allowing operational metrics to be summarized at an organizational level and/or presented at team/individual levels
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver on business intelligence needs and contribute to our data analytics platform and maintain data integrity/quality

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline or other related field with a strong analytical aptitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in translating business requirements/objectives into technical specifications
• Experience with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with Data visualization/business intelligence tools
• Experience with Python or one programming language for data analysis is a plus but not required
• Detail oriented, Self-motivated, works effectively under pressure
• Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced technology start-up environment
• Minimum of 2 year work experience
