Director of People Operations

We’re looking for an exceptionally organized and empathetic Director of People Operations with a track record of managing distributed teams in a rapidly scaling business. You will play a key role in executing Forte’s mission to bring on and retain the best people.

Requirements

In this role, you will...

• Design, lead, and oversee the overall people operations process: from recruiting to onboarding to activities that foster an open, collaborative culture.
• Develop and implement policies that capture our ethics and shared values in partnership with Business Operations, Legal, and other teams.
• Drive our talent acquisition and retention strategy: from understanding and mapping the talent landscape, to internal calibration and referrals, to matching those data points with the external talent supply.
• Propose and implement HR best practices / insights to maximize the effectiveness of our globally distributed teams.
• Partner closely with our information team to further develop onboarding, training, and talent development programs.
• Serve as a thought leader in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion as it relates to talent experience and culture.

• Strong interpersonal communications skills, exceptional judgment and poise, and the ability to build trust and effectively work across all levels of the organization
• A keen eye for detail, process, and mindset of continuous improvement
• An ability to consistently meet timelines, and operate from a sense of urgency, even through ambiguity or changing business needs
• Experience owning a process or system and thinking critically about ways to make it even better
