What you might be doing:

• Generate and review risk measures, stress tests and VAR to ensure the business’s risk/return targets and goals are within appetite;
• Develop and maintain appropriate risk models and reporting
• Assist in the review of new and existing DeFi projects and provide Quantitative and Qualitative risk and control as part of the due diligence process
• Work closely with the Investment and DeFi Project owners to help develop appropriate risk and control frameworks
• Undertake quantitative analysis using self developed tools and help develop appropriate tools financial packages and software, including portfolio risk management software
• Assist in developing financial strategies that achieve the firm’s targeted financial returns and risk
• Develop and maintain a professional risk control environment that is conducted within risk limits, processes, and standards set for regulatory and operational risks of the company and as required by external Auditors/Examiners
• Responsible for the documentation of processes and procedures
• Tracks various issues under investigation and resolution process and provides management with regular reports on the status

What you might bring:

• Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Business background with a Financial degree
• Mandatory 3-5 years of experience working in a Financial or Crypto environment
• Passion for Defi and crypto and ideally a solid understanding of Ethereum and Binance Smart Chains as well as Yield Farming.
• Prior experience with quantitative analysis specifically with modelling in the risk space
• Coding skills highly desirable (able to build own tools/automations/market analysis)
• Good understanding of smart contracts technology
• Knowledgeable in Excel and Data analysis
• Managed own portfolio of crypto assets and having a Trading/Exchange knowledge is a strong plus
