Technical Writer

We are looking for a trustworthy and proactive full-time Technical Writer who will be accountable for producing high-quality, easy-to-follow (online and offline) content and documentation for a non-technical audience. In addition, the individual will be responsible for writing articles and blog posts about various projects we are working on.

The ideal candidates must have a passion for writing and research. Curiosity and interest in open-source and blockchain ecosystems would be a big bonus.

Technical Writing

• Produce, convert, and maintain tech-heavy documentation and user support guides into readable and engaging content
• Research, understand and convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Create and maintain articles and blog posts about the progress of various ChainSafe projects
• Collaborate closely with project and product managers to obtain an in-depth understanding of the requirements for content, as well as ensuring correctness, completeness, clarity, and consistency
• Be alert for opportunities to improve the existing technical documentation

Requirements

• Excellent written, editing, speaking and research skills.
• 1+ years of work experience in technical communication, marketing, PR and/or social media
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Ability to manage time effectively when faced with competing priorities
• Aptitude for managing multiple projects, relationships, and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong follow-through and organizational skills
