Payment Operations Analyst

To accomplish this mission, we’ve built a simple set of tools that allows fintech projects to materialize their visions. (1) Our instant Fiat-to-Crypto Checkout gateway is now being used by hundreds of applications (ie. MetaMask, Opera, BRD) to offer the best way to convert card payments into crypto, and (2) our flexible APIs (Transfers API, Custody API, Users API), allow project to build e-wallets, merchant processing services, and money transfer platforms from the ground up.

We focus on compliance, licensing, regulatory, liquidity and payment processing aspects so our partners can do what they do best, creating amazing tools on the blockchain.

Requirements

• Assist with all aspects of payment and risk management operations
• Coordinating daily payment operations including settlement, funds distribution, and maintenance of operating balances
• Ensure day-to-day operations tasks are completed with routine completeness and accuracy
• Assist Customer Support teams to research and resolve customer inquiries related to payments
• Submit payment batches and run testing batches for new partners on the Wyre network
• Collaborate with the internal teams to understand payment related operational issues and work to resolve as best as possible
• Support the accounting team with accounting reconciliations

Qualifications:

• Experience and knowledge of the cryptocurrency industry
• 3+ years payments experience in high- growth technology environments
• Understanding of all aspects of a payment transaction, from payment acceptance, reconciliation, dispute resolution, and pay-outs
• Entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to thrive under minimal guidance
• Excellent organizational and time management skills – must possess ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously
• Routine and detail-oriented and puts a high value on accuracy, organization and completeness of work
• Extremely responsive and empathetic to customer needs
• Is proficient using Excel to create spreadsheets, models and reports
  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline a plus
• Working knowledge of online banking systems is required
• Working knowledge of SQL is a plus bit not required
