PR & Social Specialist

Bitcoin Depot (bitcoindepot.com) is the world’s leading cryptocurrency ATM network. Based in Atlanta, GA, our business and our teams are rapidly expanding, and we are looking for a PR & Social Specialist (PRSS) to join our dynamic Marketing team and help us Bring Crypto to the Masses™.

The PRSS will report to the Sr. Integrated Communications Manager and be our point person on PR and social media activities and work closely with our agency partner who manages both. The PRSS will also work with the Director of Marketing to ensure the overall program is working at an optimal level. The successful candidate will also serve as Bitcoin Depot’s SME for all thing PR and social media related and help cascade their insights throughout the organization.

This position will work in our Atlanta office. Working from home may also be a consideration for the right candidate.

The successful candidate must have...

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, PR or a related field
• 3 - 5 years of related experience in a fast pace working environment (i.e. agencies)
• Strong work ethic (a “That’s not my job.” attitude will not work at Bitcoin Depot.)

• MBA level education
• Influencer marketing experience
• Cryptocurrency experience
• Agency management experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Slack
• Excellent writing and presentation skills

Position responsibilities:

• Be our point person for PR and social media work being conducted by our agency partner.
• Work closely with the Sr. Integrate Communications Manager and the Director of Marketing to manage earned and paid media and social media content and paid social media advertising
• Serves as primary PR and social media SME to multiple business functions within the company
• Work on our influencer strategy development and execution with agency partners
• Works closely with the Marketing team to learn customer insights and incorporate them into PR and social media activities
• Develops and maintains strong, collaborative relationships across the organization, vendors, and industry professionals.
• Identifies trends, patterns, and correlations to constantly improve PR and social media activities
• Assist in the development of internal processes that improves Marketing output
