What you’ll do

Explore

• Explore emerging decentralized technologies being developed and deployed as part of the build-out of web 3 / the ‘internet of value’.
• Perform hands on detailed research of both theoretical and analytical work on protocols and its dApps.
• Maintain broad awareness and have a view of technology categories and leading teams involved in pushing innovation and deployment.
• Exploratory work to be structured and prioritized in collaboration with Protocols team, other Product teams and other CSI leadership teams.

Explain

• Document main categories of innovation in terms that are easily understood inside CSI by Product, GTM and other leadership teams
• Present and facilitate explanatory discussions combining internal technical leaders (if they exist) with other interested parties.

Advise

• Provide input & advice to Protocols leadership on investment strategy for Protocols R&D and productization initiatives.
• Provide input & advice to other CSI product teams on investment strategy for productization and partnership initiatives.
• Provide input & advice to CSI Corp Dev on partnership, strategic investment or M&A initiatives.

Would be great if you brought this to the role

• 5y+ proven working experience as a technical and research analyst
• Ability to contribute proactively in advising and enabling teams when new research and business opportunities surface
• Strong knowledge of blockchain and crypto ecosystem and how protocols interact with each other and dApps
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-changing environment with multiple priorities
• Skilled in the ability to articulate complex concepts into structured presentation
• A team player who thinks about the variety of voices in different cultural backgrounds
