We are looking for a high-energy, driven professional with sound business acumen and natural sales instincts to be our next Business Development Representative - Americas. The BDR role will act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to qualify new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
To be successful in this role, you should have (previous experience) basic understanding of technology solutions and how to develop leads from marketing campaigns. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to Digital Assets long-term business growth. Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities from inbound leads
- Collaborating with Marketing and Sales on lead quality and conversion
- Achieving monthly quota of qualified opportunities
- Contact potential clients (e.g. cold calls and emails, LinkedIn)
- Present our company to potential clients
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Key Criteria
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Familiarity with Google Sheets/Slides (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
- BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
