We are currently seeking a director to join our dynamic and growing sales team. This role is an experienced sales position focused on growing new business for The Block’s Memberships team.

Responsibilities

  • Run all aspects of the sales process for a defined territory of in order to grow Membership revenue
  • Manage entire pipeline and ensure all revenue-process activities are performed to meet and exceed new sales goals
  • Accurately forecast pipeline for in quarter and annual quota attainment
  • Partner with scheduling support staff to prospect and identify strong opportunities in your territory
  • Cultivate positive relationships through a consultative process involving virtual and in-person meetings and presentations to decision makers within the financial services and tech industry
  • Support clients in the evaluation process as they understand how our solutions address their specific needs
  • Aspire to grow professionally through coaching, and in turn be willing to provide coaching to support staff with whom they are partnered
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified accounts and active evaluations
  • Keep an accurate log of account details, sales activities, and contact information using a CRM platform
  • Provide market feedback to sales leadership in order to help tailor and refine the Membership product
  • Provide seamless on-boarding of new clients with the Account Management team to ensure successful partnerships
  • Represent The Block brand on client presentations and at events in a positive, substantive and enthusiastic manner

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience of consultative sales with a demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets, preferably in SaaS sales or B2B services
  • Experience managing a strategic sale, including selling unbudgeted solutions to multiple executives and decision-makers and creating value in a competitive environment
  • Ability to prospect and handle C-level and senior level relationships within medium and large organizations
  • An interest in the evolving crypto and digital assets industry
  • Propensity to ask probing questions to match the prospect's challenges with The Block’s services
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Effective problem solving and time management
  • Strong organization skills and ability to manage a busy pipeline and meeting calendar
  • Competitive spirit and results-oriented attitude
  • Hit individual goals while staying invested in the team’s larger revenue success
  • Working knowledge of CRM platform preferred
