About Manta Network

Manta is the leading on-chain privacy platform for Polkadot and more. Our mission is to provide privacy for all crypto assets and decentralized finance (DeFi) activities. We are building from first principles, applying cutting-edge cryptographic constructions such as zkSNARKs to implement our design from scratch. We are supported by leading crypto investors including Polychain Capital and many more and grants from Web3 Foundation.

We have two actively developing products right now:

• MantaPay: the first protocol providing plug and play on-chain privatization of Polkadot ecosystem assets.
• MantaSwap: the first practical privacy-preserving decentralized exchange with a rigorous cryptographic guarantee.

Responsibilities

Implement transparent, repeatable and maintainable deployment and test configurations that showcase and exercise the latest fixes and feature implementations of the manta codebase. Using continuous integration and deployment to automate testing of the codebase across multiple environments in order to provide confidence in the robustness of each change implementation.

You will bring a solid understanding of cloud platforms and their associated configuration, deployment and management tooling. specifically useful technology experience at manta includes

Who You Are/Your Experience

• Experience in operations through cloud (IaaS) services
• Terraform with AWS
• Cloud-config
• Certbot/LetsEncrypt automation and renewals
• Experience in network devops
• DNS record management
• Network zoning, firewall and security group configuration
• Nginx, Apache configurations
• Experience in building continuous integration
• Build CI with github actions with self-hosted runners
• React and MongoDB/Atlas (dashboarding) with IPGS, GitHub-pages and other CDN deployments
• Understanding security issues in DevOps
• SSH key and certificate generation with cert signing
• GPG key generation (auth, sign, encrypt) with key signing
• Bash scripting

Good to Have

• A cryptocurrency and DeFi user
• Distributed system experience
• 2+ years Rust experience
• Knowledge of basic cryptography primitives and blockchain
