Decentralized Storage Solutions Architect - Remote Based Role

W3bCloud is looking for a Decentralized Storage Solutions Architect that will play a critical role in growing our multi-protocol and decentralized storage roadmap, technology and business. This person will be responsible for understanding potential customer's needs and help design and architect storage solutions such as Filecoin in existing enterprise workloads and new Web3 applications. You will drive the onboarding of new customer datasets and use cases onto the Filecoin network. In this role, you will collaborate with the W3bCloud's business development and technical teams as well as the Filecoin ecosystem to successfully integrate traditional enterprise applications with the Filecoin network and access to the wider ecosystem through established relationships in the Blockchain space.

Requirements

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Ability to research and dive deep into the decentralized storage ecosystem and technology to understand and define new strategic directions for W3bCloud's multi-protocol roadmap
• Architect, define and execute on W3bCloud's decentralized storage roadmap, working closely with business, supply chain and technical teams
• Identify, prioritize, and design high-impact solutions driving new datasets onto the Filecoin network
• Drive and manage end-to-end technical relationships with top enterprise customers to successfully onboard new datasets
• Be an expert on the technical design, implementation and mechanics of Filecoin storage
• Build technical relationships with key tooling and ISV partners to exponentially grow the Web3 communities and proactively integrate new solutions
• Provide input into hardware design where architecture must be tailored to successfully support Filecoin and other decentralized storage protocols
• Lead technical conversations about W3bCloud, blockchain technology, and industry-specific compute and resources needed to support protocols
• Build and manage relationships with the enterprise customers to ensure the success of W3bCloud and the customer
• Be the technical relationship manager and technical counterpart with W3bCloud's established protocols to ensure success of the partnership throughout the entire lifecycle
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business development, technical, supply chain and integration teams
• Proven technical understanding, analysis and documentation experience

What You’ll Need to be Successful

• 5+ years of customer facing experience in solutions architecture, technical sales or professional services roles
• Experience with deploying and integrating applications with scalable and distributed scale-out storage technologies, e.g. scale-out filesystems, on-premises object storage systems, Web3.0 PaaS and SaaS
• Are willing to pull-up your sleeves and contribute through sample code and presentations to adapt to the customer requirements
• Working knowledge of Linux, Web 2.0 development platforms, solutions and related technologies. Understanding of DNS, TCP, firewalls, proxy servers, DMZ, VPN, VPC
• You get a kick out of driving new technologies with emerging customers
• Domain expert in storage, ideally in archive and backup workflows
• Have strong problem solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Have prior experience in running your own startup or high growth teams
• Good intuition with Web3 ecosystems and how the industry is evolving
• Self-starter, and the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity to deliver results
