The Role
- Rarible is seeking a bold, engaging Developer Marketing Manager passionate about building out the Rarible Protocol globally and attracting the global Web 3.0 developer community who will help build the future of NFTs.
- In this role, you are responsible for creating, managing and executing the developer marketing programs and building out the developer marketing strategy for the Rarible Protocol with a primary goal of driving awareness and growth of the Rarible Protocol.
- This is a strategic and operational role within the Rarible Marketing Team that will work with and directly support the Head of the Rarible DAO to accomplish these objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in developer relations marketing within the developer and/or tech industries. You will be expected to apply a deep understanding of Web 3.0 developers and developer community dynamics. Experience in executing developer and creator amplification strategies across operated channels including Twitter and Discord is a strong preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the Rarible Protocol marketing strategy to drive adoption and foster our brand positioning, voice and values (website, newsletter, blog, social, forum, etc.)
- Define and execute on Marketing strategies and tactics to achieve key results as set on a quarterly and annual basis with a specific focus on community growth
- Support and drive engagement and adoption of the Rarible Protocol developer community
- Manage marketing planning process, timelines, production flow
- Work with the Marketing Insights & Data Team to develop measurable KPIs and track performance of campaigns to provide data-backed insights to optimize campaigns and find new opportunity areas
- Regularly participate and contribute to weekly DAO callsEngage directly with the developer community across Discord as needed
- Develop presentations and other documents to clearly communicate strategic plans to management, cross-functional partners and to the broader organization
- Drive alignment and partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and deliver developer marketing campaigns
- Develop and share channel marketing best practices across organization and bring continuous innovation to channel strategies and brand touchpoints
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business administration, communications or related field or technical degree with relevant experience
- 7+ years of experience in managing and executing B2B developer marketing strategy / execution roles
- Experience in integrated campaign leadership experience with an understanding of social media, community management, and developer communications
- Experience in leading and working in matrixed teams and organizations and leading and working with media and creative agencies
- Demonstrated experience in influencing cross-functional teams and defining operational success
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience utilizing research and data to drive actionable insights to inform marketing strategy and improve experience
- Experience managing multiple work streams at the same time, and working with many different internal and external teams to ensure we are launching our programs seamlessly, and to the highest impact
- High attention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skill
- Passion for blockchain technology, NFTs, and decentralized financeAbility to work under pressure in fast paced environment and industry
- Self-starter who can self-prioritize tasks and remain productive with minimal supervision
- Ability to succeed in a global, remote environment, working cross-company successfully to drive results
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Understanding of the crypto and NFT landscape
