Data Developer - Tallinn, France or Remote in Europe

Ultra is looking for a Data developer to join our growing team. This is an exciting project that will involve challenging problem solving and collaboration in designing a data-centric blockchain product.

As a member of the Data team, you will work on our data platform's every aspect, and deploy and follow components from dev to production. You will participate in Ultra's data governance strategy. You will help us gather and process relevant data to drive all your stakeholders' decisions.

Key Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience
• Previous experience with one of our tools: Apache Beam (or another streaming data processing tool), MOM (Kafka, RabitMQ, Pulsar)
• Professional experience with server-side Java
• Experience in SQL
• Teamwork mindset, and great communication skills
• Previous experience in collaboration/sync with several teams
• Fluent in English

It's great if you also have:

• Previous experience with operating an application in production
• Scala
• Python
• Worked with data scientist
• Previous experience with a cloud provider
• Fluent in French
• Agile / scrum methodology experience

• Ultra could be considered as a multitude of smaller sub-projects, each having its own team leader. Your ability to provide insightful data and reporting will help define Ultra's business and development strategy.
• You will work with Ultra staff and entities all around the world, and collaborating with them remotely will be part of your daily routine.
