Technical Writer

At Paxos, we are creating the infrastructure for a new, open financial system - one that anyone can access and participate in, and that operates efficiently. There are billions of people in the world who are unbanked or underbanked, and trillions of dollars that are locked up because of the inefficiencies of the legacy system. We envision a new system that allows any asset to move instantaneously, anywhere in the world - to unlock the potential of assets and people everywhere. Our customers include some of the biggest enterprises in the world like PayPal, Credit-Suisse and Societe Generale, and together we are upgrading the global financial system using modern blockchain and crypto technology.

What you will do:

• Develop technical expertise in the Paxos platform.
• Take responsibility for Paxos’s API reference documentation.
• Create a new class of task-oriented documentation to ensure users can accomplish their goals using our APIs.
• Empower our Customer Success team by creating reusable content to answer common questions.
• Partner with our Engineering and Product teams, improving the usability of upcoming features.

What you need to have:

• 5+ years writing developer-first documentation.
• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and accurately.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Markdown, Unix, Git, and one or more programming languages (Golang, Java, Python, etc.).
• Enthusiasm for teaching others, and learning the technologies needed to operate a crypto brokerage and market infrastructure provider.
• Experience with Node.js, React, and Typescript is desired.
