VP, Marketing

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you’ll lead the strategy and build out of the marketing function at The Block. You will be responsible for designing, executing and managing all aspects of the marketing function and for building then leading a team of marketing specialists.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness and support the sales function
• Actively contribute to the strategic direction of the company by providing data driven inputs from the marketing function
• Work closely with the revenue team to align sales and marketing strategies
• Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels
• Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
• Develop, execute and monitor all marketing campaigns and improving them as necessary
• Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
• Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
• Build, manage and coach a high-performing marketing team
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the executive team

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in marketing, some of which within the b2b information services space with experience in a ARR financial model
• 7+ years of experience overseeing a team of marketing professionals
• Passion for building a marketing function from scratch for scale
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate the team while also serving as a key member of the leadership team
