Data Engineer (Remote)

We're looking for a data engineer with quantitative trading experience to architect, build and maintain a data pipeline that identifies arbitrage, liquidation and other automated trading opportunities in the cryptocurrency industry.

The data engineer will determine how to extract data from the different blockchains using the appropriate RPC, API or smart contract calls, and then process the data for use in an algorithmic execution engine.

The ideal candidate has 3 - 5+ years working with ETL or other data-intensive environments, and experience in quantitative trading (e.g. market making, etc.). Experience with blockchain nodes and data types is a plus, but isn't required.

Our technology stack includes: Python, Airflow, SQLAlchemy, GraphQL, REST APIs, Docker, Google Cloud Build.

As a fast growing company in the cryptocurrency industry, we are looking for a team player with a get-it-done mentality, positive attitude, and a deep sense of curiosity. Ideally, you are self-motivated, organized, a good communicator, and love problem-solving.

B.S. in Computer Science or the hard sciences (e.g. Math, Physics) is strongly preferred.
