Investment Analyst/Associate

As an Investment Analyst/Associate you will be an active member of the investment team working on the full life-cycle of making investments including: conducting deal diligence, proactive analysis and deal sourcing, identifying investment opportunities, and organizing/participating in events while contributing to make the Solana team stronger.

To be successful in this role,

You will:

• Work closely to support Investment Partners and team
• Conduct heavy analysis and due diligence, as well as research and market mapping on emerging frontiers
• Proactively source and identify new investment opportunities
• Write internal memos
• Present to the broader team

You have:

• A passion for blockchain/cryptocurrencies
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in venture capital, investment banking or a startup/technology business
• Understanding of blockchain technology and experience reviewing white papers and/or crypto projects
• Strong written and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A proactive approach and growth mindset
• Ability to work well within a team and be self-guided on a day-to-day basis

• Capable of working remotely with very little supervision, but willing to collaborate as a member of a globally distributed team
• Excited to elevate a fast-growing startup and help shape the team

Bonus points:

• Technical background or experience in data science a plus
• Legal background a plus
