Software Engineer, Integrations

The engineering team at Flipside Crypto is looking for an Integrations Engineer to help us build out our suite of analytics products. As a member of the Data Platform Team at Flipside Crypto, you’ll work closely with the world’s leading blockchain protocols, developing real-time data pipelines to ingest their data, and identify actionable insights that will help them grow. In this role, you will own the integrations into unique blockchain parsing technology, Chainwalkers, as well as other mission-critical services and APIs

Our engineering team has extensive expertise across data pipelining, distributed databases, at-scale web-applications, large-scale front-end applications and data visualizations. We work relentlessly towards our goals, and care a great deal about building quality products with a talented, authentic team.

Impact

• Own the integration of the world’s leading blockchain protocols into Flipside’s Chainwalker platform to enable rapid expansion of our CEA program.
• Partner with our Analytics & Data Science teams to design, architect, and execute on integrations that help solve emerging problems
• Create services that scale sustainably as the number of protocols and integrations we support grows significantly

You posses many of the following attributes:

• You possess a strong technical background that includes 3+ years of experience working in an engineering position with high reliability systems.
• You have experience working with languages such as Python, Golang, Javascript.
• You have a knack for digging into languages/systems/frameworks and figuring out how they work.
• Extensive experience with backend data stores, including Postgres and Redis.
• You love owning a project end-to-end, from the planning through to the execution and delivery
• You are familiar with Web 3.0 technologies
• Capable of gluing together different services and tools, even if you haven’t previously worked with them.
• Relentless when tasked with solving hairy technical challenges that do not have an immediately obvious solution.
• Excited to be a generalist and willing to do whatever it takes to solve problems and delight users.
