Senior QA Automation Engineer, Crystal (remote)

We are looking for a talented QA & Testing Automation Engineer to join Crystal team.

Crystal Blockchain is the all-in-one blockchain analytics tool for law enforcement bodies, capital markets and financial organizations. Crystal provides a comprehensive view of the public blockchain ecosystem and uses advanced analytics and data scraping to map cryptocurrency transactions and related entities and to reveal suspicious funds and participants.

Responsibilities:

• Backend and frontend testing with focus on automation
• Bug reporting, test case and testing documentation creation
• Perform functional, integration, performance and regression testing
• Setup optimal QA and QC processes
• Integrate automation tests into current processes and pipelines
• Lead QA Automation process and QA team
• Develop and upgrade current QA Automation frameworks for API and UI testing and keep it up to date

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience with automated testing processes using Java
• deep understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns, hands-on experience applying them into test frameworks
• solid understanding of Web related technologies: HTTP, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS.
• strong experience with continuous integration processes and tools (Jenkins, teamcity, or similar)
• experience of working with version control systems (GIT, SVN)
• good understanding software development process, everyday duties will include cooperation with development / DevOps teams
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban development process
• at least intermediate level of English

Would be a plus:

• experience in creation of automation frameworks from scratch
• practical experience with Unix/Linux based OS’s
• experience with Big Data and High Load projects with strict maintenance policies (Zero downtime, etc)
• experience with performance testing tools.
