Senior Creative Manager - Chicago

Bitcoin Depot (bitcoindepot.com) is the world’s leading cryptocurrency ATM network. Based in Atlanta, GA, our business, and our teams are rapidly expanding, and we are looking for a Sr. Creative Manager (SCM) to join our dynamic Marketing team and help us Bring Crypto to the Masses™.

The ideal SCCM will be that unicorn that is great at graphic design and great at copywriting. This person will report to the Director of Marketing and lead our creative team. The SCM will be responsible for the graphic design, copywriting, and video production of the Marketing team. We consider this position the keeper of the Bitcoin Depot brand and it’s voice. The SCM will also manage a team of professionals who work tirelessly to deliver on the before mentioned and help build out that team. Part strategy, part coach, part execution, this opportunity influences cross-functional leaders within Bitcoin Depot and is also responsible for developing the team’s creative output. This individual is the perfect mix of graphics, copywriting, and video subject matter expert.

This position will work in our Atlanta office. Working from home may also be a consideration for the right candidate.

The successful candidate must have...

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field
• 8+ years of related experience in a fast pace working environment (i.e., agencies)
• A killer portfolio of graphics and writing work that demonstrates the art of storytelling
• Highly proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite of programs
• Strong work ethic (a “That’s not my job.” attitude will not work at Bitcoin Depot.)
• An incredible eye for detail and a “flawless execution always” attitude

And it would be a big plus if you had any of these…

• Motion graphics experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Slack
• Excellent writing and presentation skills as a storyteller
• Experience with managing a diverse, remote team

Position responsibilities:

• Ownership of Bitcoin Depot’s overall success of design, writing, and video projects
• Keeper of the Bitcoin Depot brand both visually and voice—both internally and externally
• Creative work from idea through execution
• Lead, hire, and train a team of graphics, writing, and video professionals who may work remotely or in Atlanta, GA
• Work with Marketing leadership to set project deadlines and content goals
• Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas
• Report on department KPIs that meet or exceed the benchmarks identified by yourself and marketing leadership
• Builds and executes Bitcoin Depot’s integrated omni-channel communication strategy on an annual and by initiative basis, understanding and aligning business objectives with business leaders across multiple functions, leveraging data to support the brand strategy and achieve key revenue targets
• Serves as lead creative advisor to existing and new business functions within Bitcoin Depot
• Cascade creative department and brand standards throughout the Bitcoin Depot organization
• Work with agency partners to help meeting team goals
• Develops and maintains strong, collaborative relationships across the organization
• Utilizes market and customer segmentation to ensure effectiveness of the creative team
• Identifies trends, patterns and correlations to develop actions with key stakeholders that will improve creative performance to meet goals.
• Assist in the development of internal processes that improves creative output
