Software Engineer II, SeedInvest

As a Software Engineer II on the SeedInvest team, you will directly contribute to 1) investors, 2) founders and startups, and 3) internal users on the platform by

• Building and being involved with the design and planning of our web application to help founders and investors on our platform
• Improving our current products to make them faster and even more user friendly
• Learning to move quickly and easily across our entire stack to build and work on robust webapps on AWS
• Collaborating closely with business teams to solve complex problems

What you'll bring to SeedInvest (not all required):

• 2+ years of relevant experience in software development
• Passion to learn about the technologies you use and initiative to dive in and learn more when you are unsure
• A broad understanding of API design and REST principles, know how to derive and communicate a good design
• Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc), SQL databases and designing schemas
• Experience in the deployment of production-quality, scalable software
• A focus on coding standards and code quality with speed -- a desire to have great test coverage to enable continuous delivery
• Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate cross functionally with remote teams, share ideas and present concepts effectively
• Self-starter with a curious mindset, you enjoy moving at a fast pace, shipping software that improves the user experience and constantly improving your work with little supervision
