Principal Solutions Architect

IO Global is searching for a Principal Solutions Architect to join its Professional Services Group. As Principal Solutions Architect you will be responsible for developing and implementing systems architecture that meet our customers’ needs. This is a customer-facing role where you will gather and analyze customer requirements, and transform them into an actionable architecture to be implemented by development teams.

The Professional Services Group works to apply blockchain technologies to emerging real-world problems. You will bridge the gap between these problems and tip-of-the-spear technology. If you are curious about how this industry will shape the world, you are in the right place.

Your mission

• Defining and executing the IOG technology strategy by engaging highly technical teams (including technical account managers, technical consultants, and consulting/managed services partners)
• Identifying motivators for blockchain adoption and unlocking enterprise challenges
• Working with existing and potential customers to understand their business and technical needs
• Developing solutions that make the best use of Cardano blockchain products
• Acting as technical liaison between customers and the service engineering teams, providing product improvement feedback to product teams, and accelerating the adoption of new features
• Providing training sessions with enterprises or governments about blockchain services
• Building relationships with senior technical individuals among our clients to enable them to be decentralized advocates
• Creating solutions based on customer requirements, using the capabilities of IOG products
• Building and integrating information systems to meet customer needs
• Resolving technical problems as they arise
• Providing supervision and guidance to development teams and other solutions architects
• Researching current and emerging technologies, and proposing changes where needed
• Assessing the business impact of technical choices
• Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets
• Engaging with C-level executives to define and execute on enterprise cloud strategies.

Requirements

Your expertise

• Degree in engineering or related field
• Extensive experience in customer-facing roles
• Practical understanding of multiple technical domains, including application, data, integration, and enterprise architecture
• Enterprise experience
• Consulting and/or sales track record
• History of delivering consulting services in enterprise architecture (strategy, planning, and standards), integration, devops, and security and operations
• Experience with distributed systems and blockchain technologies and with existing blockchain frameworks (Hyperledger, Corda, etc).
