Risk Operation Analyst (APAC)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation processes related to new product listing, product parameters and model parameters updates.
• Proactively identify, report and ensure transparency of risks, and immediate escalation of material issues to risk managers.
• Support risk managers and take a lead in development and automation of risk reporting and analysis.
• Provide support in handling and reporting data elements to meet regulatory requirements.
• Assist with documentation of risk reporting procedures and ensure in line with models and methodology documentation.
• Assist in the daily risk reporting and monitoring of the markets and measuring the risk exposure of market makers' portfolios.

Requirements

• Educated to undergraduate/master level in Computer Science / Maths or numerate subjects.
• Rigorous and focus on details, strong logical thinking and reasoning skills
• Proficient in Python (5 years of working experience) and SQL or noSQL data structure/ data model and database management. Working experience with time-series data, Pandas, Flask, Numpy is a must.
• Keen to develop and apply understanding of risk principles – Initial Margin, VaR, collateral haircuts, stress testing, back testing, liquidity stress testing.
• Experience related to Financial/ Risk management; exchange/clearing house risk management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of crypto market, corporate action events and their impacts on the pricing adjustment is a plus
• Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate within teams across businesses.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Passionate about cryptocurrency and blockchain.
