What you’ll be responsible for:

Circle is looking for an exceptional Procurement Manager. As a Procurement Manager you will be building a best in class procurement function. You will be responsible for designing and implementing a SOX compliant purchasing process, implementing software that enables us to scale globally. You will also partner with cross-functional team members as we continue to scale the business.

What you'll work on:

  • Creating and developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
  • Leading negotiations with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to certify on-going feasibility and services are not duplicated.
  • Working cross-functionally to determine budget owners' needs and ensuring we have appropriate vendors to support objectives within approved budgets.
  • Identifying process improvements and efficiencies for the close and ensuring changes are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Implementing purchasing software to enable us to scale globally.
  • Creating policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation.
  • Coordinating vendor onboarding with the security, risk management, and legal teams.
  • Maintaining and keeping vendor masterfile up to date.
  • Supporting ad-hoc reporting needs.

What you'll bring to Circle:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance or Business.
  • 7+ years of procurement experience.
  • Experience in procurement for a technology company preferred.
  • Subject matter expertise in sourcing & contracting tools (Coupa, SAP, Oracle).
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and ensure tasks are completed timely.
  • High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.
