As a Content Writer for Acala, you will be an integral part of our Growth team. You will be responsible for creating and editing high-quality written content to educate our community on our products and services, our brand partnerships, and informational content related to crypto and web3 advocacy.

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in tailoring our brand voice amongst a variety of target audiences in various formats including; press releases, blogs, and creative campaigns. We will look to you to craft original copy that maintains strong relationships with our existing users and community of developers, and draws in new interest to Acala furthering our vision of being the DeFi and liquidity hub of Polkadot.

We are ideally looking for someone with a technical understanding of our product and the Polkadot ecosystem, but if you're a professional writer who is already familiar with blockchains and the ongoing DeFi trends then we want to hear from you. Here are some samples of content we admire:

What you'll do:

  • Write a variety of content including press releases, product education blogs, and website messaging
  • Structure content to improve SEO performance and optimize within our CMS platform
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice and messaging across all content
  • Collaborate with our Growth team through the content development process from ideation to completion
  • Ensure creative processes and timelines are understood and key stakeholder needs clearly defined
  • Develop, manage, and evolve content guidelines, templates, workflow processes, protocols, and tools used to create content and marketing materials

    • What it takes:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Professional Content Writer, and command of AP Style
  • Demonstrable samples of your Blockchain & DeFi content [send links!]
  • Experience driving a consistent brand across advertising, digital media & PR
  • Self Management: Proactively working on multiple projects to deadlines
  • Bonus: Technical understanding of DeFi trends in Polkadot, Ethereum & Bitcoin.
