We are looking for a search engineer/architect to join our search platform development team.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the effort to ensure that enterprise search architecture decisions support the Corp business and strategy, Define the overall enterprise search platform roadmap and drive its successful implementation.
  • Participate in architecture assessments & reviews either as lead reviewing architect or as an enterprise search subject matter expert in the review team.
  • Continuously scan the technical landscape to identify ways to improve search relevance, accuracy, and overall user experience.
  • Develop new algorithms to improve semantic understanding of different content types for better search experienceDevelop and maintain high quality software to support search metadata.
  • Design and implement core architecture components for new features and improve performance for existing high-traffic, high available data ingestion and search API. Content indexing (crawling – ETL) - Setting up indexing, retrieving, ranking heterogeneous datasets

    • Requirements    :
  • Experience with Java 8 Spring Boot, Spring Cloud development.
  • Experience in building search applications for large scale structured/unstructured Data. familiar with commercial or open source search engines – ElasticSearch,Lucene, Solr.
  • Extensive background in algorithms and strong software architecture skills.
  • Familiar with ML powered Search (Auto-tagging – auto-classification – entity extraction – NLP) methodology.
  • Familiar with Multi dimensional results ranking and indexing data, Machine learning, classifiers, Natural language processing.
  • Rich experience of Search relevancy and performance and process to measure, iterate and optimize.
  • Big data and large-scale data processing technologies (e.g Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, Kafka).
  • Experience AWS/Google Cloud/Azure other cloud environments is plus
