This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the growing DeFi ecosystem as we are looking for a remote full-time senior Analyst to stay up to date with the latest technology and innovation in the field. You will be working alongside our Data and Finance team and reporting to our CIO, providing direct support to the investment process by producing deliverables within specified deadlines, continuing development of expertise in critical performance areas, and supporting the corporate enterprise by conducting weekly multi-modal due diligence research. Please note this is a fully remote role for a candidate who can be based anywhere in European timezone

What you might be doing:
  • Identify risks, threats, and vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies
  • Conduct industry research & contribute strong baseline knowledge in the crypto asset and DeFi space to help prepare analysis
  • Assist with deal structuring, negotiation, legal documentation, and economic impact modelling for new projects
  • Finding and evaluating new investment opportunities in the DeFi space which fit our Investment strategy & requirements
  • Perform due diligence and research in order to make recommendations regarding opportunities identified by other team members
  • Monitor current investments and track key metrics and company performance
  • Synthesise a market view consistent with fundamental crypto-economic incentives and theory and communicate this view to the organisation towards the purpose of achieving consensus on this view
  • Contact & Interact directly with the DeFi Project owner to perform in depth Qualitative due diligence

    • What you might bring:
  • Engineering or Business background with a Financial degree
  • Mandatory 5+ years of experience working in a professional Financial or Crypto environment, 1 year of which will ideally have been spent full-time in DeFi
  • Must have strong briefing skills, written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence and skillful negotiating skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience leading a team
  • interpersonal, communication skills - ability to prioritise
  • Managed own portfolio of crypto assets and having a Trading/Exchange knowledge is a strong plus
