Head of Product Marketing - Remote

ECC’s mission is to empower everyone with economic freedom. In support of that mission, we build and support Zcash, a digital currency that protects freedom, dignity, consent, and security.

As the Head of Product Marketing you are responsible for crafting a world class user experience for ZEC through a well-researched understanding of the market and its needs, communicating and influencing ECC product strategy and priorities, crafting compelling narratives, and communicating products and features to the market to drive user adoption.

You are both a leader and doer and are able to drive outcomes through persuasion and influence. You will report into the Growth Team and participate in the Product Strategy Team.

Core Responsibilities:

• Bring to market products that deliver continual excitement about ZEC
• Market research to inform what will have the greatest positive impact for ZEC users
• Ensure that public information about ZEC and ECC products are accurate and promote confidence

Work may include market research, thought leadership and speaking, product content development, narrative development, and product and feature prioritization.

Requirements

We have few concrete requirements, but we're flexible and looking for the right person.

• Prior experience leading product development or marketing in a high-growth startup
• Demonstrated experience researching, writing, and communicating technically complex concepts to varied audiences
• Experience with Product Board is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and negotiation.
• Experience working cross-culturally is preferred.
• Experience with and knowledge of cryptocurrencies is preferred.
