IO Global is searching for a General Account Manager - Telecommunications to join their Commercial Team. The Commercial Team develops strategic partnerships and commercial opportunities for IO’s infrastructure, product, and service divisions. They also play a crucial role in strategic initiatives, including but not limited to country entry, client proof of concepts, client implementations for governments and enterprises, company strategy, product commercialization, and key strategic partnerships.

In the Account General Manager - Telecommunications role, you are responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and partners in the telecommunications industry. You will work with IO’s Corporate Strategy Team to develop commercial and partner strategies for IO’s activities in the telecommunications industry and then work with IO’s commercial department and product teams to execute those strategies.

You will exhibit the highest levels of dedication and professionalism in keeping with IOG’s mission and values and be looked to as an example of living those values in service to our community and customers.

Your mission

  • Serve as a consistent point of contact for telecommunications clients throughout the customer journey
  • Develop and continually update commercial and partner strategies for the products and services in your care as they relate to telecom
  • Advise sales, marketing, and product personnel on the telecommunications market and market needs
  • Contribute to sales kit material as it relates to telecommunications
  • Cultivate and negotiate deals for Atala Prism and IO’s other products, solutions, and services
  • Work with the commercial, product, and marketing teams to refine GTM for IO’s products and services
  • Understand and articulate client needs to our commercial, product, and executive teams
  • Work with financial modelers to optimize and refine pricing structures for our products and services
  • Collaborate with the product team to align product roadmap elements to support IO’s customers
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment between internal and external parties in the sales and account management process
  • Serve as a point of escalation for clients when needed.

Your expertise

  • 10+ years’ experience in the telecommunications industry
  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial or services role
  • Proven track record in account management or sales
  • Experience with software sales or vendor relations/management
  • Knowledge of innovation, blockchain, cryptocurrency, and DeFi industries preferred
  • Minimum B.S. in Business, Computer Science, or related field.

Location

IOG is a fully distributed organization and therefore this is a remote position. Due to team distribution we are ideally searching for someone in a U.S time zone.
