DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. You’ll be critical to building and improving our internal, self-service infrastructure, tooling and processes that enable the engineering team as a whole to deliver our products. You will also improve the reliability and observability of the platforms directly used by the token.com infrastructure.

Think Big - you will be critical in enabling us to deliver products on a global scale, achieving best of class reliability and observability of our platform and improving our tooling and processes to enable the engineering team as a whole to deliver our products efficiently.

Think Iconic - the work that you do will allow us to have a leading product in our industry! Your architecture will allow us to grow our client base and internal processes too!

Think Together - you will be working with developers and the wider team to understand problem areas, spot efficiency improvements and then work on solutions. Therefore enhancing productivity of the whole engineering team.

Requirements

The skills and experience we think you’ll need for this role:

• You’ll have solid knowledge of systems & networking fundamentals
• Experience with Containerization, Kubernetes and Terraform
• We use Google Cloud Platform so it would be great if you have experience with it, but AWS / Azure are also fine
• You’ll be experienced with CI/CD (ideally implementing GitOps using ArgoCD/Codefresh; but CircleCI, Gitlab, GitHub Actions is cool with us too)
• Experienced with observability & monitoring (think Honeycomb, Prometheus, New Relic, Datadog) and familiar with SRE principles
• Experienced with distributed systems and database architecture: scalability, fault tolerance, load balancing
• You’ll have experience with source control development platforms like GitHub
• You’ll be fluent in at least one programming language
• You’re an excellent communicator - you balance talking and listening, both individually and within your team
• Prideful in providing the platform our products run on
• You’ll be confident in sharing your own unique perspective
• Solution focussed and pragmatic
