Intermediate Accountant

We are looking for an organized and detail oriented Intermediate Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Controller, you will have the ability to be a strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. As the Intermediate Accountant you will be given the opportunity to work in a busy, fast paced environment. This individual will be a detail-oriented person who can work independently and in collaboration with the Veem team. You will also demonstrate the ability to see improvement opportunities and propose recommendations. The ideal candidate must have experience in financial services with FX.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for finance operations, including bank and account reconciliations, general ledger activities and sub ledger reconciliations
• Monthly Revenue Allocations
• Assist in month end close procedures
• Support the year-end audit and statutory tax preparation
• Coordinate the consolidation of foreign entities
• Perform and monitor daily payment processing as needed
• Other related duties and required or assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience working within a multi-entity/multi-currency environment
• Experience in Bitcoin trading a plus
• A strong understanding of accounting concepts and principles
• Experience in excel and modeling skills and using reconciliation tools
• Strong attention to details, time management and problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
