Head of Capital Markets

As Head of Capital Markets, you will drive the growth of Figure and its Capital Markets strategy. This role is responsible for building and growing capital markets platforms by partnering with our technology and business teams. Maintaining strategic relationships both with external and internal stakeholders to generate new capital.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for all capital relationships for the purposes of warehouse and permanent funding of originated assets.
• Oversee execution of warehouse and whole loan sale agreements for funding origination.
• Building and growing relevant members of the Provenance ecosystem. This includes originators, lenders, banks, credit funds, asset managers, insurance companies, etc.
• Work cross-functionally to find ways that blockchain technology can improve, increase efficiency, and reduce the cost for some of the processes performed by third-parties in a securitization.
• Work with the rating agencies to determine ways to improve the lending products from a credit perspective, as well as optimize for securitization execution.
• Responsible for managing closing warehouse and whole loan transactions with our capital partners.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, and Credit teams to ensure cross-collaboration to drive capital market strategies successfully.

What We Look For

• Proven track record of growing capital or managing large amounts of investment capital
• A deep understanding of short-term bridge financing products is strongly preferred
• Good network in the financial sector with institutional investors and funds.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead with respect and strong ethics
• Expertise in mortgage banking, corporate and securities; capital markets; and regulatory compliance
