Position: Vice President of Engineering

Celsius is looking for a V.P of Engineering to join our dynamic team in Tel Aviv, while working with our offices around the world.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a passion for our mission. We are looking for a determined problem-solver who will go up, under, around, or through a mountain to enable Celsius users around the world to access honest lending and savings products that they need to enable their financial freedom.

Responsibilities:

• History of strong leadership to drive recruiting, building and growing engineering organizations at scale with people in different physical locations
• Strong technical background that includes technologies such as AWS, SQL, Node.JS, React- Deep understanding and experience with blockchains, cryptocurrencies, fintech, CeFi and DeFi
• Ability to formulate and articulate strategy/vision and effectively drive consensus across the engineering department
• Excellent technical communications skills at all levels of the organization including technical and non-technical individuals
• Strong organizational judgment and problem-solving

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or related field (Graduate Degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus)
• 15+ years of experience managing a high performing engineering team in a rapidly growing environment

Celsius is currently operating fully remotely while navigating COVID-19 guidelines, however, Celsius has offices in Hoboken, New York City, Atlanta, London, and Tel Aviv and employs remote employees based in cities all around the world. This position is open to all qualified applicants in Tel Aviv.
