Tech Lead - Accounts

Paxful is searching for a Tech Lead to join our Accounts team. An ideal candidate is someone who is great at designing architecture before implementation of new complex features/ services and mentor other teammates to help them solve tasks on design and code review stages. This role will report to our Director, Engineering.

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will entail:

• Design, build and maintain applications
• Take part in grooming sessions and estimate the efforts for the team
• Plan team activities with Product Managers
• Closely work with teammates to solve tasks and reach sprint goals
• Write clean, secure, maintainable, testable and modular code
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Help to troubleshoot, test and maintain the product
• Follow company coding standards
• Perform code reviews and mentor your peers
• Cover your code with tests

The most important skill and capabilities for this role are:

• Strong knowledge and skills in PHP 7.3+
• Experience with frameworks Laravel 6.x, Symphony5.x
• Experience with ReactJS, Redux, Typescript
• Good knowledge of relational databases - PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Experience with NoSQL databases - MongoDB
• Working with the high-load systems
• Experience with microservices
• Experience with AWS and knowledge of AWS architecture patterns

Target Experience:

• 3+ years on the position of TeamLead/TechLead/Architect
• 8+ years of the commercial web development (PHP/JS/React)
• Interest in cryptocurrencies
• Good verbal and written English
