Head of Marketing

SkyGrid is a Boeing, SparkCognition company enabling the future of mobility. Based in Austin, Texas, SkyGrid is delivering a platform capable of providing safe airspace operations, including unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) traffic management (UTM) solutions ⎯ a key step toward integrating a significant number of autonomous air vehicles into the global airspace.

As the first AI and blockchain-powered unmanned aerial operating system, SkyGrid is facilitate a wide variety of UAS-enabled services, including package delivery, industrial inspections, and emergency assistance.

The SkyGrid team is looking for a highly motivated, creative individual with at least 5 years of marketing experience and expertise in blockchain and crypto to take on the position of Head of Marketing. This is an opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career in the fast-paced world of blockchain, crypto and NFTs. Option to work fully remote.

Requirements

• Lead SkyGrid’s blockchain marketing launch, including community, press, advertising etc.
• Owning the overall marketing and content strategy for SkyGrid’s existing and new products and coordinating with design, and business development
• Responsible for driving the volume of users to the SkyGrid platform over time
• Collaborate with SkyGrid’s community, partners, customers, and team to deliver narrative-driven short and long-form content on social media, blogs, and media platforms
• Crafting positioning/messaging (category creation), and developing creative and educational assets
• Planning, executing, and iterating marketing campaigns with an experimental and analytical approach
• Observe online events, hackathons, speaking panels for opportunities

Qualifications

• Previous experience in crypto, blockchain or NFT required
• Minimum Bachelors Degree
• 5+ years in Marketing
• You understand traditional marketing principles and implementation (media, PR, paid advertising, email marketing), and can strategize how we drive up volume in our exchange
• You can synthesize complex topics and ideas into simple messages
• You have high attention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skills
• You are intellectually curious, resourceful, and execute relentlessly
• You are fascinated by blockchain technologies
• You have an understanding of the dynamics in mass media industries
• Ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment and industry
• Preferably with previous project management experience
