Head of Communications - Flow

Role Overview:

• Establish the narrative around Flow and Dapper Platform that makes them accessible to an increasingly mainstream audience by driving strategic content pieces and working directly with the community and ecosystem of partners - including press, research teams, technologists, and enthusiasts
• Work closely with the overall team to understand the technical nuances of their products to communicate the unique benefits to the community alongside the partnerships and marketing teams
• Drive the definition and establishment of the Flow brand in the crypto ecosystem through a future-facing narrative with a focus on delivering thoughtful and timely information relevant to developers and ecosystem partnership initiatives
• Independently develop communications strategies and lead execution of key partner and consumer-focused programs and campaigns for Dapper Platform
• Bring a passion for learning and establishing new paradigms of software development in the world of blockchain and beyond

What You Will Be Doing:

• Partner closely with Dapper Labs Communications team and other internal partners to join in the “all hands on deck” mentality when big launches and events are at hand
• Partner closely with our product and marketing teams in developing content and thought leadership to take us beyond blogs and support our social programs
• Independently develop communications strategies and lead execution of key programs and campaigns, working closely with valued partners
• Support Flow and Dapper Platform’s executive and subject matter expert content program, collaborating closely with key company executives
• Manage proactive and reactive Security and Reliability communications, including for our various updates
• Be a champion of platform and product news, thought leadership, proactive user education storytelling

A little bit about you:

• Strong media relations skills and a passion for PR (min. 8 years experience)
• Financial technology communications experience
• Passionate about blockchain and all things crypto
• Developer or security communications experience would be valuable
• Experience working closely with executives up to and including c-level
• Thrives under pressure
• Creative, thoughtful and passionate about storytelling
• Exceptional writing skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines consistently
• Open and effective communicator; someone who is not afraid to throw out an idea or challenge an existing one to make our ecosystem stronger and help advance the blockchain and products
• Self-motivated and curious, eager to learn and comfortable with failure
• Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally
