The successful candidate will think big about the future of crypto and how you can best serve institutions and HNWs in the ever growing crypto economy. You'll own the strategic direction and go-to-market strategy, including the ideal customer segment, roadmap, value proposition and messaging. You will possess the ability and willingness to balance customer needs with business priorities and articulate the rationale behind decisions.
At your core, you'll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, process-driven environment and be able to adapt and adjust plans on-the-fly. You must also have strong prioritisation skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done. Most importantly, you'll drive results and significantly grow the adoption of Okcoin products and features.
The candidate is fully responsible for the Okcoin Europe volume and revenue growth. You will identify the market with best ROI, support the license application for the targeted regions, lead marketing GTM strategy for retail business, lead sales/account management/BD team to focus on EU VIP and institutional segment growth.
Drawing from your extensive success in financial sales roles, this seasoned, hands-on, crypto savvy, top-performing pro knows how to target prospects, cultivate relationships, close deals, and drive revenue.
You're genuinely bullish on crypto assets and the adoption of blockchain in "traditional" finance. Excited to develop long-term strategies and shorter term plans to meet the revenue goals.
You’ll hire, train and develop a team of sellers.
Willingness and ability to travel for business (as health orders permit).
The successful applicant must have the right to work in the EU.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Become and serve as an OKCoin platform expert and brand ambassador
- Build and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline, by qualifying and prioritising leads efficiently and intelligently
- Develop and grow relationships with prospective institutional clients
- Proactively cultivate existing client relationships and drive value with senior stakeholders
- Implement strategies to deliver on key revenue targets for the business
- Help the business scale by collaborating with teammates to create, optimise, and maintain processes for sales, support and the CRM
- Develop and deliver a white glove experience to every client
- Collaborate across Product, Support and Compliance teams to continuously improve the customer experience
- Manage a complete sales cycle with overflow deals in times of abundant opportunity creation
- Think creatively beyond the current market and contribute to the expansion of new business at OKCoin
- Be proficient and train a team in technician product demonstrations, delivering the value propositions for every business line, service and offering of the OKCoin platform
- Tell a good story in both conversation and writing - i.e. you have excellent narrative skills, a refined vocabulary, a compelling voice, and an engaging personality
- You have experience using a CRM for client management and sales forecasting
- You are able to form relationships, manage deals, and close business in a remote world
What We Look For In You:
- 12+ years relevant experience, preferably in a sell-side role covering institutional clients
- Natural leader with proven effectiveness in leading, training sales teams
- Ability to independently source and close high profile clients
- Solid strategic thinking, client-facing communication, and interpersonal skills
Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):
You are an expert in the blockchain and cryptocurrency landscape and will understand how speculators, traders, digital asset exchanges, blockchain money services businesses and financial institutions operate
Experience working in a disruptive technology, successfully driving sales in new markets, ideally, within FinTech, eCommerce, SaaS, AdTech, or Digital Wallet business experience
A history (and preference) of being both strategic, analytical and execution-oriented
