We are looking for an entrepreneurial sales leader to build our sales function from scratch. We can deepen relationships with existing Yat collectors and establish relationships with future Yat collectors, laying the foundation for robust and active sales operations at scale.
About You:
- Have domain expertise within the art market and emerging digital art/NFT trends.
- Have a robust network of artists, creators, prolific art investors, collectors, curators.
- A highly skilled strategist can identify, execute, and communicate strategy effectively.
- Knows how to communicate market needs and future trends to coordinate with product and service teams. You have shown the ability to work closely with a product organization to advise on product direction with accurate market metrics.
- Thrives when given a lot of autonomy and can manage upward/sideways.
- Hold yourself to an incredibly high bar in terms of quality of work.
- Effective time manager that consistently delivers top-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Have an extensive track record of success in technology sales and solution selling and experience building a top-performing revenue organization.
- Genuine interest in contemporary/internet culture with a deep understanding of collector communities.
What You’ll Do:
- Actively manage, grow, and diversify our network of collector relationships by:
- Demonstrating and reinforcing Yat’s vision, virtues, and desirability to existing and new collectors.
- Proactively identifying and engaging with potential Yat collectors – using both your existing network and beyond.
- Lead sales strategy and execute strategy, including creating a plan to grow market share, build and manage the pipeline, and increase the close rate.
- Build and develop a sales team, including establishing critical metrics for the team and mentoring to foster the ability to exceed those metrics.
- Provide an accurate view of the market and the company’s future opportunities.
- Oversee governance of all sales policies across a global sales team; run routine audits to verify compliance at all levels; maintain essential documentation regarding our policies and sale processes.
- Develop operational measurements to identify business process issues and provide recommendations and solutions to business challenges, increasing overall sales productivity.
- Provide a bespoke and luxury experience to customers - both face to face and virtually. (initial and follow-up discovery, presentations, close, transition, and implementation).
Requirements:
- 5-8 years experience in delivering an exceptional experience to clients, perhaps in art, high-end fashion, tech, or luxury industries.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales and revenue goals throughout career while building and managing teams.
- Excellent communicator with impeccable writing, speaking, and presentation skills, and the ability to explain complex ideas in a manner accessible to all.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with diplomacy
- Ability to understand complex technologies and 3rd party integrations.
- Experience in using data to drive insights to improve sales productivity and performance, including owning the analysis, defining key objectives, and cross-functional problem-solving to achieve short and long-term results.
- Proven track record of growing revenue through new product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships.
- Can take a personable and relatable approach to form meaningful relationships with new, existing, and potential collectors, developing meaningful relationships.
